Casa Dingledine

Welcome to the Casa Dingledine blog!

In February, twenty-five members of the Wake Forest University community, traveled to Mangaua, Nicaragua to celebrate and dedicate Wake Forest’s newest international facility, Casa Dingledine. The three day trip demonstrated Wake Forest’s commitment to service, learning, and advocacy and showed promising possibilities to work together with our Nicaraguan neighbors. The devotion to the Nicaragua Nexus and Casa Dingledine from so many different schools and disciplines, help us understand the importance of this new facility and the opportunities it offers. Casa Dingledine sets a new standard for university abroad programs – this is pro humanitate in action.

Thank you for taking us with you. You did all the work and we got the views, the breeze, the thick clay plates of meat and vegetables and beer with tabasco. I had a great time!
